Anna

Senior Stylist/Manager

Originally from Sweden, I arrived in London twenty years ago from Oslo where I worked as a hair and make-up artist on TV commercials and fashion magazines. On arriving in London I decided to concentrate solely on hair, quickly enrolling at the Vidal Sassoon Academy and passing with flying colours. With this new lease of creative life I knew I needed my own place, and the idea for the klinik was born. Luckily two clients at the time were architectural bright young things and together we started to make plans. We found an amazing site on the then up and coming Exmouth Market, the perfect place to realise our innovative new concept. In 1998 the klinik opened and with the help of a loyal clientele went on to establish itself as a permanent fixture in the vibrant Clerkenwell community. Some years later finding ourselves needing bigger premises but not wanting to leave the area we moved just up the street. However, there’s a lot more to the klinik than just bricks and mortar, I am very fortunate to be surrounded by a team of strong, creative women who are now like a family to me.
